Susan is the managing director of institutional sales and trading for First National Capital Markets, Inc. She has focused her career on building strong teams and creating an exceptional investor experience. Susan is an experienced capital markets sales leader with 13 years of experience at Comerica Securities, where she was the managing director of investment banking, as well as the managing director of institutional sales. Comerica Securities, a regional financial services firm that has ranked among the Top 50 for corporate underwriting and is a leader for Michigan public finance, benefited from Susan's expertise as a corporate and public underwriter. Previously, Susan was a commissioned national bank examiner with Comptroller of the Currency where she specialized in capital markets activities. Past roles also include her work as a financial planner with American Express/IDS Financial Services, as a small business owner, and as vice president of mortgage servicing for Advance Mortgage, where she led a variety of businesses. Susan has a background of working with new issues and business propositions. In addition to her corporate experience, she has been an engaged board member of Inforum Center for Leadership, working on the initial strategy and ongoing success of its leadership programs. Susan holds a B.S. from Lawrence Technical College. |
