Richard Vinci - Senior Managing Director

Richard joined First National Investment Banking (FNIB) to lead the M&A group in 2006. He brings to FNIB over 30 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, investment banking and private equity as both a principal and as an advisor. Prior to joining FNIB, Richard was Senior Vice President, investment banking and head of the Private Equity Group for Daiwa Sumitomo Banking Capital Markets, and an investment banker at Deutsche Banc Alex Brown, Inc.  Richard also gained valuable operating experience as an officer of a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary company.  Richard has dedicated the past seven years to serving the needs of middle market clients with a focus on closely-held private companies and family businesses.  He has been recognized every year since 2004 by M&A Advisor in multiple categories for Deal of the Year including transactions in the Manufacturing, Consumer Services, Financial Services, Media and Energy sectors.  Richard has been a sponsor and frequent lecturer at Northeastern University's Graduate Center for Family Business, and with First National is a founding sponsor of the Creighton University Center for Family Business.   Richard received his M.B.A. from Georgetown University, The McDonough School of Business, B.S., University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and is a FINRA Registered Series 24 Securities Principal.
