Ron is managing director of First National Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining FNIB, he was one of the founding members of Cybus Capital Markets, a leading food, agribusiness and renewable energy investment bank acquired by FNIB in June of 2007. Ron had been with Cybus and its predecessors for over 25 years. As partner in charge of the firm’s Sacramento, California office and west coast investment banking business, Ron is involved in the origination, structuring and marketing of investment banking transactions. Transaction accomplishments include buy/sell side mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, restructurings and refinancings, recapitalizations, as well as growth debt and equity placements. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University, achieving B.S. degrees in agricultural business and agricultural economics, and a graduate of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management’s mergers and acquisitions executive program. Ron is involved in several trade associations and addresses various industry groups throughout the food and agribusiness industry as a panelist guest speaker. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for EarthRenew Organics, Ltd., and is a former member of the Sioux-Preme Packing Co. Board of Directors. |
