Clark joined First National Bank in 2003 and now heads First National Investment Banking. Prior to leading Investment Banking, he served as managing director, Mergers & Acquisitions, and as a commercial lender for First National Bank in Omaha, Neb. Previously, Clark worked at Goldman Sachs in New York and Chicago as a part of the Financial Institutions Group in the Investment Banking Division. There, he advised a variety of banks on sell-side transactions, including U.S. Bancorp's $21 billion sale of Firstar. Clark also worked on the buy-side of transactions for several financial institutions, including Schwab's $10 billion acquisition of U.S. Trust. In addition to banks and financial institutions, Clark assisted insurance companies, payment processing companies and brokerage firms on a variety of buy/sell-side merger transactions. In one instance, Clark orchestrated First Horizon's $30 million sale of its ATM business by organizing and running a five-week trans-Atlantic auction process between eight bidders. Clark serves as a director of First National of Nebraska. Clark received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.A. from Princeton University. |
