Entrepreneurs and business owners encounter diverse capital needs as they drive the growth of their business. Whether a capital need is for an acquisition or to support significant growth initiatives, our investment philosophy is these business investments are often transformational for a company and we view them to be much more than a "transaction". They are about the partnership that is created between a business owner and First Capital Partners.

We bring a wealth of experience to each investment opportunity and serve as a trusted advisor to our business partners. Our $60 million fund is managed by a group of professionals with backgrounds in private equity, mezzanine capital, leveraged finance, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and corporate development.

We look for successful companies led by experienced executives that are in need of $2 to $10 million of junior capital (mezzanine capital or equity). We don't require that an investor or entrepreneur approach us with a preconceived idea of whether they need mezzanine capital or private equity. We view it all as junior capital and part of our job is to work with an investor or entrepreneur to determine the optimal mix.
